Yes you can weigh it but due to the propellant in 134a and extra oil you may not have enough Refrigerant inside the system. It turns out that using the cans is not the best way to fill up at AC system. The vent turns hot when we're also at a stop light. It seems like the AC only wanted to work when I was on the Freeway (when it was really hot). Do you think I my have a restriction somewhere? Is this normal? Because I have grabbed 4 other vehicles high side and it was only warm. I can only touch it but only for 1-2 sec cause it will literally burn you. Then my main question is my high side line is very very hot. I have seen it blow 59 degree and go to 70 degrees stopping at idle.

The only problem I have is that at idle dead stop the car would start to blow out warmer air. At the vent with my thermo it was blowing 56 degrees and at highway speeds I have gotten it to blow 45 degress. With my mainfold gauges connected to the ports after refilling the system I got about 35-40 psi on low side and 250psi on the high side and the ambient temp was about 94 F. I closed the system vacuum it out for 3hrs and refill the system with about 21-22 ounces of r134a. When I installed everything I poured out all the oil in the new compressor and put about 4.6 ounce of new pag 46 into the new compressor.

When I installed my new parts everything was flush including my evap and my evap was also cleaned out as much as possible. To make my story short I have replaced my ac compressor, drier, expansion valve, and condenser with all new parts due to my old ac compressor locking up.
